Evelyn was NOT suffering from symptoms of swine flu, she deliberately dressed up as a pig. Levi looked just ducky in his outfit
In a whir of pre-pubescent shenanigans, we received over 300 trick-or-treaters to our house in town. After hitting up our street with mama, she happily sat outside and handed candy out to each masked trickster that came to our door. She's currently negotiating for license to eat mass amounts of candy. With a Tootise Roll in her mouth she's a real sweet talker. The kids sit and snack on the stoop. Evvie on a lollipop, Levi on a pig's ear.
Yay mama! Today Evelyn, Levi and I walked to the end of the street to see Mama and Courtney run by in a Halloween Race!
We ventured down another few blocks and 15 minutes later she RAN BACK! After that was a race of our own. I pushed the stroller with Evvie on my shoulders and we cut through backyards back to the YMCA to see mama finish the race! It was an exciting Halloween morning with more fun to come!
Umcle Jeddie and Annie's Ol'Fashioned Harvest Party was this past weekend with lots and lots of apple cider to be pressed. Evveie turned the crank on the machine that peeled and cored the apples, and later she turned the one that busted them up into bits. The party was funa nd the cider was delicious!
Crabs! Urchins! Starfish! Islesboro is teeming with life, and we added to it when we visited our friends Adam and Erin. The ferry ride to and from the island is a perfect bookend to this fun getaway spot.
Mama caught a cute starfish! It posed for this picture then went back into the drink.
After a super yummy cookout of sausage and asparagus we explored the beach and surf.
